    World of Color Viewing

Hi, love this website. My family is visiting DLR in May 8-14 (Sat - Fri. afternoon.) As these dates have reduced weekday hours we can only view fireworks on the weekend (8th and 9th.)

My question is: should we take the risk of missing the fireworks (9:25pm) on the Sunday for the chance that we could see a soft opening for World of Color at DCA (sched. to close at 10pm.) Or could we race over after the fireworks and get in at the last second?

    Thanks,
    Ben

Welcome. WOC won't open in May.

I'd go with fireworks. If they do start doing soft openings, it will be absolutely packed with people wanting to get the first glimpse of the show. We are going to wait until like October to see WOC just because the crowds are going to be an absolute mess.

Oh yeah we will watch Aladdin for sure. This is our third time since Feb. 2009. We are going to try and catch the stuff we passed over b4 (great moments, playhouse disney.) My only big complaint is that Big Thunder is going to be refurbed then, it is one of our faves.
