DaddyB's Latest "Disneyland on your Desktop" Photo Update! 10/31/05

    http://www.visionsfantastic.com/dadd..._31_Update.htm

A quick trip around the park. Some nice pics. I'm so tired from this weekend, I gotta' go lay down. Too much fun. Spent all day Sunday at the parks with my little girls (finally splurged and bought them deluxe passes after a year has gone by!) and then stayed all night for the last "Mickey's Halloween Treat" over at DCA.

Then today I had to rush home after work and get the girls ready for a neighborhood dinner party followed by neighborhood Trick or Treating, followed by our church's "Fall Carnivale" (no one at that church watches HBO, evidently).

Anywhooo.... I'm bushed! Here's your photo update for the past week![/COLOR]

Always some great pics--and the park looked so empty! I wish I could go when it's like that!

Hey Daddyb... Why can't I right click on your images anymore? I wanted to use the auction pic as my desktop. Would you be willing to e-mail it to me? I don't want to go behind your back and obtain it another way.
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Thanks for the kind words everyone!

To clear up some confusion, I took these pictures on Wednesday. Even though I wrote in my introduction that I'd spent all day Sunday at the park, none of the pictures in this update are from Sunday (including the 20 minute wait time for Space Mountain!)

Wolfy999 ~ I was especially touched that the wolfette gave me a hug when we bumped into each other on Sunday. She's a real sweetie and obviously being raised right by her folks.

    AWESOME pics!

Though, I'm finding it incredibly weird that Warner Bros. would let them sell Corpse Bride shirts...either way...man, i'd *kill* to have that Bonejangles shirt, if they have it in XXL. But, I can't get down to the park any time soon...blast. I know there's a way to order stuff from the park, I did it once before with a jacket, but I've forgotten how to. >_O

I'm addicted to Disneyland. Disneyland hobbies are expensive.
If I become a bum people are going to say "Don't give him money, he's just gonna use it on Disneyland."
    Disneyland. My Anti-drug.

With all this talk of "off the shelf" and "on the back-burner" it seems the only thing that DCA is really missing is the kitchen sink!

Yes, I saw the flagpole thing on my last visit on Wednesday evening... They only had the first layer of stones on it. I gotta' say that it really looks like a wonderful place to trip and fall and sue the C*** out of Disney. The rocks stick out at a very low level to the ground and just cannot be seen.

That is how the flagpole was before it got knocked down. Never heard of anyone tripping all these years. Besides, if you happen to miss the big pole sticking out of the ground, and then miss the small pile of rocks around the base of it, that larger base made with rocks and cement with the plaque on it could really hurt if you were to hit it just right...
