What do you take away from Disneyland?

    Souvenir's?

I always take away a heightened appreciation for the relaxing/refreshing effect of the park in general.

I come away with more knowledge of the park, there is always new things I'm noticing each visit that I didn't notice before, propbably due to the fact that I keep looking beyond where I've looked before.

My family usually gets a bucket of popcorn before we leave. If Celebrate isn't stopped there, we sometimes get a caramel apple, too.

I always make sure I bring home a new coffee mug so I can relax in the morning with a cup of joe and reflect on time well spent with family.

In addition to whatever I purchased, I take a final picture as it begins the process of planning the next trip.

I have a nice little collection of Disney camp and golf shirts going. Makes me remember all of my fond trips everytime I wear them.

For the past year and a half, I have brought home ideas for my current book in print and lately for the two sequels already in the works.

I bring home at least 80 pictures to add to my slide show, and a sense of happiness that my memories of the past in the Park are still valid and strong. I am creating new ones, but the old memories still shine brightly!

Hidden Mickey - Historical fiction about Walt that mixes action and mystery with time travel and fantasy! Tweens to adults will enjoy these novels. And now, three gamebooks to play in Disneyland, DCA and WDW Magic Kingdom!

Check out my six action/adventure novels about Walt's lost diary and his epic quest. Visit my blog page!

I ALWAYS get a very fancy candy apple when I go, whatever is the craziest most ornate one they have and i eat it for breakfast the next day. Money well spent. haha
All this has happened before, and it will all happen again. But this time it happened in London. It happened on a quiet street in Bloomsbury. That corner house over there is the home of the Darling family. And Peter Pan chose this particular house because there were people here who believed in him.

I usually just take the park maps and schedule of entertainment for that day...and a Jalepeno-cheese pretzel.

I usually take away a extra pound or two from all the buffets , lol. My daughter and I always get a new set of mickey ears and she always get an autograph book. Somewhere along the line there is some sort of light up toy included in our departing luggage, lol!!

We always take away memories and reinforced belief in magic, fun and love.
    Yaye!

I take home a tired back, an empty wallet and a couple of swollen feet, And also I take home an accomplished feeling of greatness just to visit the parks, I always get bummed about having to leave the parks, I usually end up with some extra pins for my collection maybe a hat or shirt, and always a great time.

Re: What do you take away from Disneyland?

Memories. IMO, the very best thing Disneyland can possibly offer is a venue where superlatively special memories are made. For me, a really good visit (i.e. most visits ) is one when I've really bonded with the people I came with, when there were countless precious moments that we'll be able to remember and laugh about for years to come. That's not to downplay the specialness of the park itself, mind you - nor am I trying to say there's anything wrong with going alone. But I'm realizing more and more that what I value most at Disneyland is the people.
