Cute Disneyland Prom Story!

Ok, well I am not the one asked in this story, but it was my idea for these two together, so I figured I wold share how my friend, we'll call him Peter asked my other friend, we'll call her Mary to prom at Disneyland.

Mary was taking a test for acceptance into a college on Monday. Her dad then took her to Carl's Jr. to 'meet a business partner'. (He was in on the plan). Then, Mary's friend Julie showed up and said that she was kidnapping Mary. Julie put a blindfold on her and took her to the car where they drove for a bit. Upon arrival at their destination, Mary claimed she knew where they were. So, Julie took off the blindfold and they were in Downtown Disney. Then Julie and Mary went into the area between the two parks. Then, another friend, Kara, popped up with a piece of paper telling Mary to go to an area in the park. When they arrived, Kara was waiting with another piece of paper with another area in the park. This continued until finally they came to the teacups. Kara was there and told Mary and Julie to follow her. She led them to where Peter was standing. He had a cupcake in his hand (his mom owns a cake shop) with a piece of chocolate on the top that said 'Prom?'. He then asked her, and of course, she said yes!

I thought that was very adorable, your thoughts? Also if you have any cute stories like that, I'd like to hear them!

Yeah...it must have taken him ages to plan! My parents said it sounded more like something for a wedding proposal. ahaha

Nope! Neither one had a date and it was the girl's senior prom, so I made the suggestion that they go together. I felt accomplished.

Disneyland can be terribly romantic. I've come across folks getting secretly married over by Snow White's Grotto a few times, and I have posted here that over 20 years ago when the piano was still unlocked and in working condition at the Circle D Ranch, I used to serenade my wife to be with songs I had written for her. Yup, Disneyland can be mighty romantic.

That is a great story! It sounds like they are friends, not a couple? Even if so, this is a story they will remember and have fun sharing!

For my senior prom I went with my best guy friend at the time! Our school would not allow him to take his bf to prom. I didn't mind being his "stand in" because unlike a bf you might have in high school and end up breaking up and having bitter memories, as best friends we had the best memories we could!

oh it wouldn't even be official if someone just asked. guys are giving flowers, drawing on the females cars, asking in front of crowds, making like 5 foot posters, t-shirts, balloons, the whole nine yards! and this is just friends going together!

This is the kind of guy, that for a wedding proposal, will jump out of a plane on the news and pull out a sign that says Will you marry me?
