While on the tram last night I noticed that the light posts along the tram route have a colored stripped just below the light. The color changes as you travel along the route, does anyone know if the color stripes mean anything?
I've always wondered that too.

Back of the tram has a row of colored buttons that the CM can start the spiel loop segments. Match them to the lamp colors, all there is to it.
(Although the buttons are an override... spiels are cued by GPS)
they have nothing to do with spiels. they are just to give a better position of the tram if needed.
^^^That makes sense.
The buttons (green, yellow, red) do not match the rings on the lampposts (white, blue, orange) so the posts have nothing to do with the buttons.
so many experts, and so many opinions. (Oh, I know...I have mine too...)
