The Disneyland Encyclopedia by Chris Strodder

I've read the Disneyland Encyclopedia once, it's filled with great info and alotta pages too, my question is for those who have seen and read it, how accurate is the book? It details everything that has been inside of Disneyland and everything that almost was, but how true and accurate is the book? How can one pinpoint and detail anything and everything? If it's right on then the author of the book should stop writing books and become a disney historian

    Re: the Disneyland Encyclopedia

I'd say that with the book, the author IS a Disney historian.

The book is definitely very accurate. As with all authors, there are a couple errors here and there, but overall, I would have no problem relying on the content. It is quite exhaustive (although he missed a couple things, as Werner Weiss noted in his review: http://www.yesterland.com/encyclopedia.html).

I really like the book-- I read it cover to cover. Now I often refer to it. Love it!
