So HISTA is here to stay...

    WHYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY?!?!?!?!?!!!!!

I was really hoping after CEO it'd be out and a replacement would be found fast. If anything, I hope this time off is being used wisely for it's return for:
    - a digital print of the film
    - a digital audio update
    - better floor movement
    - new practical effects/refurbishment
    - new lighting

I can't think of anything else. What do you think could be added in it's down time and imminent return?

Did I miss something? Where did you hear the show will be returning after EO?

A tiny but potent earthquake fault lets loose a 0.2 temblor that does no damage, except to crack open the ground under the precise spot where the HISTA negative and all its prints are stored, and swallow them up.

I have heard nothing of the sort. It would be a highly foolish move. Keeping EO running would be more beneficial then returning HISTA, and replacing the show will DEFINITELY be the best move in the long term, both fiscally and for the experience of the guests.

I've read HISTA is returning to EPCOT after their EO tribute, but i've heard nothing of the sort for DL. So i'm not sure why this is labeled as News..

I may very well be the only person on the planet who feels this way, but i actually liked HISTA.

(Dodging tomatoes and other assorted projectiles. lol).

I found it relaxing, entertaining, and I liked the 3D effects. It was a nice break from the crowds as well.

Whenever I would visit DL, I'd usually see it a couple of times each day, and never got tired of it.

As much as I liked HISTA though, I like MuppetVision more.

Your not alone my friend. I actually like HISTA too but I felt that it had past its prime. Good thing they mercifully closed HISTA. In the near future, that 3-D film would be playing to empty chairs and bored CMs.
