Ha, beat me by minutes! Yeah, if you adjust the gamma, you can see that there's nothing there. You guys are focusing on a hat on the hat rack and some random cobwebbing.

It's still trippy how it looks like a face though.

It looks like a mardi gras mask behind that black box thing that's hanging on the coat rack. I think that black box is a little translucent, which is showing a mask behind it. If you look below that coat rack, you can see that it's on a platform. I think this platform is covering up the pit which was originally used to hold the HBG and the old bride.

He's peeking out of the pit! jk

Now the question is... why is there a Mardi Gras mask hidden on the ride?

I guess I need to use smaller words and shorter sentences.

    No mardi-gras mask: that's cobwebs.
No black box: that's a hat.
No coat rack: that's a hat rack.

Do I see a purple cloth on the left side of the photo?

    Kidding, everyone.

Actually, yes, no joke, that probably IS the infamous Purple Cloth. When the Reggie portrait was unveiled in 2006, the PC apparently took up residence at that end of the room. Here's vintage PC, and a shot of the HBG corner from a year or two ago.

    Purple Cloth sighting!!!

We should make t-shirts of the purple cloth: for the true lover of endlessly obscure Mansion trivia.

and only one hat made it through the transition.

I bet that purple cloth will become famous because of how much speculation it's caused.

    Holy Cow, thats spooky.

All I see is a purple sheet in the lower left-hand corner. Quite a few of the grooms hats are missing from the rack.

Was that up-light always on the floor. Could it have been used to light up "Beating Heart"? Also notice the way the Washington portrait is placed, facing the corner. Does it mean anything?

All that is certain is that nothing is for certain. Much like the plans for WDW's Fanastyland is that nothing is set in stone. Agree or Disagree?

Things get shifted around a lot, especially in the attic when they do the transitions for the HMH. I never noticed the uplight. It could've been where the black light was for the old bride. I think the bride's heart was lit internally, not externally.
