Absolutely! And the original bride, as well! I really do miss hearing that heartbeat up in the attic...

Yes, the heartbeat is still there, but now it is there for no apparent reason.

Thanks to the date for the overlay installation being moved up, the Mansion will be closing the day BEFORE I arrive in Disneyland rather than the day after I leave.

This does not please me at all.

Marquis's chair used to sit in the WDW Loading area next to a table, some books, and a lamp. I'm very disappointed that this setup was removed, I felt that It added a little pizazz to the room. Oh well...

No, no, I thought I'd never see those things again. I hate them, I have bad memories of them.

You have got to be kidding... I giggled at them the first time I saw them.

I always found the pop-ups a little too corny for me. I'm glad they've been removed from the attic.

Okay, in keeping with my informal policy of giving Thread-heads first peek at interesting visuals that are going to eventually wind up on my blog, here are some gifs that Captain Halfbeard made for me, showing the old queue area graveyard.

And now for a ridiculous interlude:

Disney is RUINING my love (after)life it's TRUE!!! Because I am nowhere to be found, Penelope Cruz settled for that lump, Javier Bardem.

OK, as you were or not.

Definitely more like the grounds of a haunted mansion, and less like the extended queue of the Haunted Mansion. Oh well...I can understand the need for such changes. It's the permanent removal of the tombstones on the berm that's really inexplicable, even if it's maybe a little weird to suggest there are people buried in such a steep hill.

    WHAT???

    When did this happen?

Are you talking about at Disneyland, Walt Disney World or both?

At Disneyland. As far as I know, all the tombstones at WDW are intact, but the ones on the berm at Disneyland (not the pet cemeteries in front or around the right side) were removed in...the early 2000s, I think? For HMH? Dan, help me out with the timeline here.
