Very nice new art addition, and the flowers are new to me as well in terms of knowing about them - good stuff!

Keep up the good work everyone, this thread always rules!
Does anyone know how long the wedding dress has been in the attic?....it's located where the other bride used to be on a chair to the far right, I believe.
Little and broken, but still good.
One of the old brides used to do a strip tease. Damn, I miss that version.

Ravenswood Manor's Facebook page has uploaded this video of the recording sessions with Vincent Price

Somehow this one slipped past me under the radar. Hope everyone has seen this great photo of the HM from August 1965, posted last month.

Wow O.O I couldn't even tell that was a Disneyland picture.
I was thinking the same thing. It looks like a regular home in New Orleans.

Thank you for that link FigmentJedi! I had no idea Vincent Price had recorded a French language version of the Phantom's dialogue as well as the ultimately unused English one. Now it's got me wondering why they ultimately chose to have another voice actor replace his French version as well...
The story goes (and the video seems to purport) that Vincent Price struggled through many takes of the French narration. When they realized it wasn't quite working they asked him to try it in English. The results, of course, were spectacular. I suppose they didn't feel the French attempts were successful enough.
Interestingly, the actor who provided the replacement narration was Gerard Chevalier, who had on many occasions been brought in to dub Vincent's voice for the French translations of his films. So, for the French audience at least, the effect Mr. Price's presence remains.

Did you notice that the attic window was open in that picture?

Interestingly, the attic windows are frequently seen like that in pre-opening photos. Probably for air circulation. I imagine it could get hot in there before they began air-conditioning the building.
