    Talking A Pogo/DCA Connection

    Howdy,

Quacky4Donald Joe here. I was messing around on Pogo (an online gaming site) and came across something I found to be pretty cool. On Pogo a user has the ability to create a "mini" for him/herself. (In otherwards, a fancy avatar.) Anyway, I was creating one for myself and came across a background that is pretty similar to DCA. Now, I'm not sure if the "sun" face that used to be part of the old Sun Wheel was a "mass produced" item, but nonetheless I found this to be very cool:

The background moves and lights up as my little squirrel friend tries and tries and tries to bust open that darn walnut!

    Anyway, there ya go!

    - Joe

A stupid observation, I know, but I thought it was cool as well.

Not stupid at all! I definitely think DCA had some inspiration on the background!

Oh, yeah. Clearly DCA. If not, a cross between Paradise Pier and Coney Island.

[But I'm pretty good with the information, if I do say so myself. And you can hit me all you want with Walt Disney World.])

Hmm, despite the haterade on the old Paradise Pier, its seems like it has become the inspiration for lots of eye catchers. It was even used in ad I found in the Press Democrat. (Read more about that here.)
