Do Mickey or any of the other fab 5 still climb The Matterhorn? We used to see that fairly regularly during the celebrations following the 50th Anniversary where Mickey, Goofy and friends would be climbing The Matterhorn and they'd have their conversation going on the PA system over by the hub and the parade route.

    Re: Matterhorn Climbers

I saw Mickey climbing the Matterhorn when I was a kid and I thought it was an amazingly magical, weird thing. haha. But I was so young that I hardly remember it. But I would love to see the climbers again.

    Re: Matterhorn Climbers

I miss the climbers. I remember seeing them as a kid, I didn't realize they were hired by Disney or anything. I had been to Yosemite and seen the mountain climbers there, so I thought that the people climbing the Matterhorn were just doing it for fun. I always wondered how they got permission from Disney to climb it.

Also, it's funny with the forced perspective, The Matterhorn looks so big, and then you see people on it and they look odd because you'd think they should look smaller.

    Re: Matterhorn Climbers

You know, it drives me nuts that in that Hidden Mickey book, Mickey climbing it is counted as one... as well as the picture of Mickey riding Splash Mountain that's plain as day and not hidden in any way.
