Favorite Thing About the Parks?

I'm a long time MiceChat reader but first time poster! I thought this would be a fun thread:
What is your favorite thing about the parks? I don't mean favorite ride, per se... but your favorite thing to enjoy at the parks? Let me give an example...
One of my absolute favorite things at the parks is Adventure Land at dusk. The tiki torches are all lit up and the white twinkle lights in the trees create a cozy glow around the area. I love sitting near the Bazaar and soaking up the atmosphere... especially the smell of the water from Jungle Cruise and the sound of the jungle birds in the trees from IJA....
Another one is walking through the castle on the first day of a trip and hearing "When You Wish Upon a Star"... That's when you know you're really, finally there!
Anyone else care to share their favorite things?

Me too!! ^.^ One of my favorite things is Fantasmic! The music gives me shivers, even when I'm not watching it and I'm here at home. And of course the Electrical Parade, it's been a favorite since I was a lil' girl. I have my favorites about every land, I am obsessed with a ton of things. Haha. Even though it's cliche, I think the castle is one of the most romantic spots ever!

I love the Paradise Pier music loop, It gives me a warm feeling inside. Walking around Frontierland and New Orleans Square in the evening is so beautiful, Its one of my favorite things to do. Going on the Tower of Terror and California Screamin at night is awesome.

The pathway behind Big Thunder at night is awesome, very atmospheric, and I love walking through there and taking in the ambiance.

My favorite thing about the park is Main Street during the Christmas "snow". It has wonderful memory association for me.

Also, the ducks. Especially the baby ones.

I love standing in New Orleans square when the band is playing. I also love standing in line for Indy. But I think my favorite part of Disneyland is Main Street. There is just something about walking down Main Street that fills me with a sense of calm and happiness.

for me its walking down mainstreet hearing the music, seeing the trainstation, looking at all of the buildings, makes me feel like im in a different time

I forgot one... last year I was in the parks for Halloween Time. Right before the park closed my friend and I ran into the line area near the back of the HM. We were the only people there and we got to soak up the grassy hillside filled with glowing jack o'lanterns and candles and twinkle lights. The best part of all was the HM Music Box playing away... that music is so pretty and it was really quiet back there so we could hear the whole thing. I could have stayed there for a LONG time if the park hadn't been closing...
