It could always be added in the show in a couple of years....if the movie gets as popular as pirates.

Are there different machines for different zones, or is it the earlier you get your pass the "better" your spot is? After all, isn't that relative? All I've heard is "You can see it from everywhere" (which I kinda disagree with), but obviously some spots will be better than others, no?
All the colored FastPass sections except the grotto-area section go from the bottom tier near the boardwalk to the top tier near the parade route. When you go into your colored section, you have the choice of tier to be in within that color section, except the boardwalk, which while still considered part of the color section, is not FastPass last time I checked.

just think what the lasers in WoC could do with the original tron visuals.. would be awesome.

Huge recognizers crashing into the lagoon making splashes... light cycles via projection hitting a wall making water shoot up, etc.

But I don't think it really fits much into show. Plus, Disney seems to ignore those late 70s, early 80s as much as possible it seems

Re: Whoa! Why No Tron In World Of Color?!?! Do You Think Tron Has A Place In WoC?

While Tron most definitely has an awesome look and could have potential within the World of Color, I think it's sort of jumping the gun. Sadly the original Tron has a cult following and many aren't super familiar with it. However, I must say that I'd rather see Tron scenes (from the original or upcoming sequel) than Pirates of the Caribbean/Jack Sparrow scenes. Don't get me wrong, I love Johnny Depp and Pirates but it just seems like a strange throw-in for this show...like it's popular so why not?

I haven't seen World of Color...just clips and read many reviews, just like many of you. I am looking forward to it but I'm not going to plan a trip around it.

Yes, I think Tron would be a good idea BUT I sort of wish World of Color had stuck to animation only.

There really isn't any memorable music from TRON, so for that reason alone, it doesn't make sense to include it. But I do agree, If they were to place it anywhere in the show, it would fit in with the lasar effects, in place of Zurg.

This may have already been posted, but the box lunch/reserve seating is now available for purchase.
And they have dropped the price to 12.99.

TRON is animated - every frame is hand animated over the live action shots plus the computer images composited in.

    He meant GOOD animation.

I kid I kid (I am a Tron fanboy as well) I get my sci-fi buzz from the Buzz Light Year scene, I think a tron scene would be way to similar. It could be done though and probably look very cool on the water screens.

That is hard for me to believe. The main theme itself is pretty memorable. Of course, I have been a fan of TRON since it was first in theatres and my family went to see it (maily because part of it was filmed at Lawrence Livermore National Labaratories)

Wold have loved to have had TRON included -- even just a brief light-cycle sequence. Shoot, it was part of the Peoplemover for so many years, people would remember it from that at least.

    I think it'd be a GREAT idea!

I'd love to see the light cycles race on the massive screen, but I don't know what else they could do (I haven't seen Tron).

So which viewing area is better? The Picnic meal viewing area or the Ariel's Grotto area?

Wow... I gotta say... the view of all those people holding up their camera recording screens is pretty awful!
And it totally proves that if you don't get a front row/front section... your viewing of the show will be very distracted and extremely annoying from all the crowds in front of you videorecording!

I'm totally disappointed seeing that... :-(

Just reserved a spot at Ariel's Grotto for July 2nd. Now I'm just waiting to see where exactly we stand to watch the show afterwards. I hope the preferred viewing section is a good one.

So... who then gets the Green area in the picture (where Ariel's actually is) then?? Isn't that where the restaurant outdoor portion is? (I haven't been yet, so don't know)
If someone is viewing from there... aren't there tables and chairs located in that area? What would they do with those during the show?
(Just still really dreaming and hoping and praying for somewhere to sit while watching!) :-D
