I thin Mickey will be in the show somewhere
>>But a kid will be more inclined to say "Mommy mommy! I want to go see tiana! I saw that movie yesterday!" or "I want to go see simba! Lion King is my favorite!"<<
Fine, but the rest of us might say "Hey, there's VonDrake, Alice and Peter Pan, let me spend some more money on collectibles."
>>Change your perspective. Think about what might appeal to the most amount of people.. not you.<<
Why? My money is as good as anyone's. I like Walt Disney. And I'm quite certain I'm not the only one. The connection to Walt Disney and his work is why I buy an expensive Disneyland Annual Pass.
I'm sure the water show will be lovely and exciting in any event, but I hope to see and hear the traditional Walt Disney characters and music and themes featured alongside. That will provide the emotion for me.

So we are now judging the show on some "art" that was given to annualpass holders through the mail. wow..this site.

Even though they are tying the new DCA to when Walt first arrived. It won't hurt to have one show with a more modern cast of characters.
Just be happy that it's not all Pixar

By all appearances, the show will be successful regardless.
I think we are judging the rebranding initiative in general -- and whether Walt Disney and his creations should remain a big part of the equation.
Cinderella, Aurora and Snow White are part of the transformations sequence in the finale, confirmed by those test showing videos online.
Plus we got Chernabog.
Doesn't stop me from being mad about Alice being cut.

If so, that's just wrong. Those Alice cut-outs in the previews were gorgeous art!!!
And I would be the one saying, "I want to see Treasure Planet! That's my favorite Disney movie! I never see it anywhere!" Yes, while it's not Walt Disney, it's still something more obscure. (I could change it and say I want to see the Three Caballeros...) The point that I'm trying to make is that while the more popular characters are more marketable, it wouldn't hurt to put in a few obscure things here and there... People do like them and it could provide some balance with pleasing all sorts of guests.
Heck, maybe people might look up the stuff they don't know and fall in love with it. that could mean more money for Disney... :P
oh and P.S. I'd love to see Ludwig Von Drake. I recently discovered how cool he is. haha

We don't know that.
I've been saying this for a long time now:
WE DON'T KNOW WHAT WILL BE IN THE SHOW SPECIFICALLY.
We have an idea of what will be presented, but not a direct idea of what's in it.
This show is so VERSATILE. They can change things (pretty much) overnight. Also, think about this: if you're Disney, and you're bringing in a multi-million dollar aquatic wondershow, wouldn't you not only want to make sure your new technology works right, but wouldn't you also want to make sure you can test every optional scene, before putting the final cut together? I'd think so.
Isn't little mermaid gonna be in there too? I'm trying to think of all the characters in the show...
So after 2 full days in a row of walking around disneyland and a four hour practice, I finally understand why my doctor told me to take it easy on my knee
I still cant wait to do it again

Looks like it, and rightly so. She's a classic in her own right.
It's Walt Disney's own characters we're worried about losing touch with -- the personalities created during his lifetime that provided the art and inspiration for those created after he died (like Ariel, Belle and the rest). For 80 years, the originals have always been present alongside the additions as one big happy Disney family. Not so much today.
