The Imagineers found out about the "Weeeeee" joke!

Now that's the biggest proof yet that they read these boards... or at least the DCA Project Tracker.

    Not quite.

Carsland is a new Disney created area with consistently themed attractions and landscaping.

Mulholland Madness is a cheap, taken off the shelf ride system one would expect from a strip mall parking lot carnival, bringing with it all of the associated sensations: the smell of stale cigarettes, rancid food wrappers blowing about, grubby carnies with alcohol on their breaths, and vomit baking in the sun. Or maybe that was the original theme Pressler and Pals chose for Paradise Pier.

Minus 10 points for missing the sarcasm.

Plus a bajilion for the colourful descriptive language, however.
    Disney FAQ#275: What is DCA?
DCA stands for Disney Construction Area. All the Cast Members are themed with hard hats and steel toed boots.

i dont mind though.. my sarcasm is hard to catch even in person unless you've been around me enough and got used to my very dark sense of humor. and i agree with the colorful descriptive language. hilarious!

Talking Re: you've been PLAGUED: parks. swings. bears. food. and Fantasmic!

OH Wow! First off...I'm a brand new member and couldn't be more excited to be here! I truly enjoy all the information and really neat posts! So, what got me to actually set down and join this group was your post and pics of the Issaquah Middle School Band. I live 20 minutes from that school out here in "sunny...well...rainy" Seattle. I wish I could have been there to hear the band. So, to actually pronounce the name of Issaquah (which can be really daunting to alot of folks)...it is sort of like the following: "hiss-ah-qua.) We have a lot of those names out here and yes, they can be really hard to pronounce. Oh well...

A few years back my wife and I were at the park and took a break over by the bandstand towards the path/back bridge to Fantasyland. Imagine my surprise when I read the sign that the next school band was going to be a band from a school just down the block from us. So, we stayed and showed our support! It was truly neat!

Anyway, that's my story on your great thread. I really enjoyed reading it.

Love the pictures! Great trip report. I haven't been to the park in at least a couple of months so it's nice to see all of your great shots. Though I am excited I will be there for one of the WOC previews. Thanks for posting.

Wonderful TR! I especially loved the Fantasmic and Lotso pics! I would most definitely give that crazy bear a hug. I'm not big on the color pink but he looks so big and squishy, haha.

Thanks for sharing and I also loved what you had to say with every picture too. Great stuff.
