Churros are good, as are Dole Whips. I like the chocolate covered Mickey Mouse ice cream as well. Bengal Barbecue is awesome. The fries from the McDonald's Fry Wagon. Mickey Mouse Waffles with Strawberries.
Oh Ok you want specifics,
~Monte Cristo (I never go to DL without getting one)
~the asperagus bacon skewer at Bengal
~the Croissant Benadict at Carnation Cafe
~the icecream cookie sandwiches (though I usualy forget about it until I'm home )
~the Corndogs at red wagon, we just discovered them this year and I'm hooked.
I know there are more but that's all I can think of right now
Churros....and just out of curiosity, why do the McDonalds Fries taste better at DLR than at McDonalds?? I Know they dont add anything to the fries cuz I used to make them at Galley and I ussually dont get fries, but when my friends do and I mooch their just so much better :o
The fries DO seem to taste better from Disneyland...Or maybe it is just the experience of walking with them around the shore of the Rivers of America. I feel that the RoA waterfront is quite possibly the atmospheric masterpiece of the park.
Chicken Fusilli, Monte Cristo, Dole Whip, Churro, Turkey Leg, Chicken Tenders and Motzerella sticks at the Golden Horseshoe, basically anything at Bengal BBQ, burgers...breakfast is absolutely delicious there too, Carnation Cafe has these Mickey Waffles and you can get strawberries and sauce with it, it tastes so good!
I love the soft pretzels shaped like Mickey's Head. Even though I know they are made by Super Pretzel, for some reason they taste better because I am at the park!
My hubby and I also share an obsession for the chocolate covered pretzels. Buy the ones in the silver mylar bag- they are a better deal than the large Mickey shaped pretzels in a box and taste just as good and are very portable!
Bacon-wrapped asparagus skewers at Bengal are the best!! Mmmm!!! That's a new one to me, thanks to jennifindsgoodfoodifer!
I have to have coffee and lots of it when I'm at Disneyland. It's not even good there, but I have to have it! We do free refills at that restaurant where Adventureland meets New Orleans Square next to Tarzan's Treehouse.
I like the garlic bread stick at the Pizza Port. The pizza's okay, but I'd rather have one of the ginormous bread sticks instead!
I like to get JUST the chicken breasts at the Plaza Inn. I don't want all the other stuff, just the chicken breasts. I think they charge you less than $3 for the chicken only. It's a great deal, especially if you don't want the crappier pieces of chicken, the veggies and the potatoes.
