Yeah let's boycott! It's still going to sell out every night but at least we'll feel better that they didn't get our money.![]()
Great post and completely valid points. I posted this in another thread about this, but it bears repeating. I don't understand why, because of the fireworks being made exclusive, many are coming on here and acting like "dark days lie ahead..."
Disneyland has seen dark days, very dark days--and this development is no indication we are ever going back to that era. Finally, Walt Disney himself built the place so it could change. You think if he was still alive today the park would still look like it does? I bet all the rides that exist today would have been removed and/or updated with far superior and technologically advanced attractions...
Class of 2005...

I really don't think another thread is necessary, especially because I don't believe anything about the title of this thread was unclear or calling for debate. I also didn't think this was a "Hot Button" issue. It never occurred to me people would actually agree with the park making such a greedy decision. I'm done with the arguing, let's get down to business and COMPLAIN to them about this. OC register already got the ball rolling, lets make sure it picks up speed.
Thanks for the email link! Disney stopped listening to us when they took away the comment cards. I wonder how long this link will last?

Am I the only one who thought Halloween Screams was a mediocre show.
The visuals were great and all, but the music killed it for me. So since the show is just visuals and music, if one part fails, the whole show fails in my book.
Maybe I need to see it again because I'm obviously missing something if people are making such a big fuss about it.
It's a discussion board. Pretty much EVERY topic will bring differing views. This place would be boring otherwise, and to expect anything different is not realistic.
Hopefully you'll read opposing views and understand them, even if you disagree. If you don't, how can you be secure that your own viewpoint is the correct one?

I felt the same way about Ghost Galaxy. The mediocre soundtrack really unimpressed me. Had all the elements been done well, I would have liked it a lot more, but as it was, it felt inferior to the regular version.
I liked the fireworks music though. Grim Grinning ghosts blasting through the air = awesomeness.
