CA Screamin' lighting effects and wave machine

Whatever happened to the colorful lights that made patterns underneath the loop and the Mickey Mosue ears? I remember from DCA in 2001 there used to be lights that would dance and make patterns underneath the lift hill in all sorts of colors. It was a nice touch and looked really cool. They used to also light up the loop. That's been gone for quite some time as well. And speaking of missed effets, what happened to the cool wave machine??

And none of that stuff words anymore? =(

The lights in the tunnels were cool, same for the lights around Mickey. It gave the entire area great atmosphere.

As for the wave machine, that was cool and served a functional purpose in helping the roller coaster by keeping the launch area cooled down.

The lighting effects were LED tubes and panels such as at the Fantasy Waters show, depending on the type of power the park has being sent to the lights, the lights may get hot and turn off after a very very short time after they turned on, it could be just seconds. And about the lake I think they should put a Waltzing Waters show there. heres the link to Waltzing Waters to find out what it is. http://waltzingwaters.com

All Disney needs to do is find who did Belagio's show in Vegas... that type of show (to Disney Music) would be PERFECT!

The LED tubes do. they are similar to Strobe tubes as seen at the Luxor in Las Vegas on the sides of the pyramid.

I know the wave machine worked in March because that was my first time in DCA and it was going. When we went back in June it wasn't working.

I am talking about those huge white and blue lights that are directly under the track and Mickey's ears. Not the tiny lights around his ears or the green and blue ones in the tube. The lights would dance and change colors under the track in angles. The ones in the tubes area always working as are the ones around his ears. I am refering to the big spotlight ones that light up the structure. The light patterns have been gone for a while now and all that are left are the blue lights that never change or do anything.
