To me, it's Disneyland. So I'd have to say a 10. That's not to say that it's perfect because it's far from it. Tomorrowland is in poor condition. Pooh took over the Country Bears. DCA will probably never be what it could have been had it been done right from the start. But, I kind of see it as if it was my child. You know it'll never be perfect, but you love it unconditionally because of what it is and what it means to you.

    I'd have to say a solid 7.5

In the midst of planning and waiting for a DLR vacation that number is amped up to a 100+, but as for the remainder of my life, I have too many other interests to rate Disneyland any higher than a 7.5 at the most.

Re: how much do you love disneyland on the rate of 1-10

When I went often from 1979 to about 1985; it was a solid 10.

I started going again in 2005, it was still a 10.

For the past several years though, with the huge crowds and no more off-season, I'd give it a 6. It's just not the same.

The original idea, the vast majority of the rides, and the attitudes of the CMs are still a 10, but The Disney Co'.s lust for more money no matter what has greatly reduced its value to me.

Very well stated. I could not agree more. Maybe a 7.5 is a little generous actually. But I'll stick with it.

PS...No Tahitian Terrace or someting equivalent in that spot...No swing music at te Plaza Gardens except Saturdays...no Rod Miller at Coke Corner...

Despite it's shortcomings and minor mistakes, it's still the greatest freaking place in the world. 10.

The closing of the Tahitian Terrace and the Motor Boat Cruise are two things that will never sit well with me.

    EDIT

Suffice it to say they are certain policies established by Disney management that promote the overcrowding of the park at times, thereby lessening the quality of enjoyment for many. And Disney doesn't care.

Been going since 1955 when I was a babe in arms. Literally. So I'm giving it a 55! The original and still the best!
