Question Princess Fantasy Faire for Boys?

Is there anything in it for little boys (my son is going to be 5)? I've seen boys come out of there with Prince Phillip swords and shields but I'm wondering if there is anything else for them? I've never done it and his baby sister is too little to get anything out of it (yet) and we had a goal of doing everything in the park this trip but don't know if I should drag him to this and him be bored out of his mind.

Any info on it would be so helpful.

If your son likes princess's then it should be fine. But if he's into Transformers and Legos and sports. Then I don't think he will be too amused.

You can always take him over there and let him decide whether it's worth sticking around. If he has any taste at all for medieval stuff he might like it.

Don't they have a show for boys? It's over in Tomorrowland, the Star Wars Training thing. I didn't see the Fairy thing, but they both are shows that you participate in

If someone is that interested in medieval stuff they are probably better off going to Medieval Times just a few miles away. While I wouldn't say it is nowhere near authentic, it does do a much better job at displaying medieval history and culture than the Princess Fantasy Faire does.

I see more girls at the Jedi Academy than boys at the Princess Faire.

I think that each boy can decided for himself. I say go and if he doesn't like it you can leave. When we went the last time, over a year ago, there were alot of boys as well as girls. Because it is in Disneyland it is different than if it were somewhere else. My son, who is older now(18) will do things in Didney that he wouldn't do other times.

    I second this.

I see plenty of boys over at PFF. Like someone else said though, you do see more girls at the JTA than boys at PFF. I guess there's a "stigma" about it among boys.

I have seen boys having some really funny interactions with the various Princesses though. Often times about being the prince of their realm and having to protect their families from dragons and such. Once they get going the boys have gotten really into it. So it will really depend on your son.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

When my two sons were 5 years old, as much as they enjoyed Medieval Times, they really could have cared less about the history and culture of it.

What thrilled them was the fighting, uniforms and swords...

I would probably ask him if he's interested in going and seeing the Princesses. If he says yes, then take him and see if he likes it. If he says no, then there you go.

Maybe they should tranform PFF into training for Dragon Fighting, or perhaps, Hercules Hero Training!

Other then the stuff for Prince Phillip there really isn't any stuff from the other Prince at Disneyland. I really wish Disney will bring out the Prince more often just for the boys cause I know there is alot of little boys that don't care about the Princess now if they have the Prince out then that be a whole new story. The only one that is out from the group is Aladdin and you can fine him by the Jungel Cruise ride. I would love them to bring out Phillip,Beast & Prince Eric the most for the boys cause they could have a hole lot of fun with them.
