All it takes is money. A lot of money.
As for going anywhere, that depends on people. If for whatever reason people stop riding it, it will go "poof gone". Otherwise, it will stay.
Oh, we ride it in November/December even if it's cold. Just try to keep kids off of it. Of course, bringing extra clothes helps.
