I think the overall idea of combining Condor Flats and Grizzly Peak is a good one, I wonder what they are planning now (vs 2007).
I wonder if they will put a new small show in the Grizzly Peak play area besides brother bear?
I wonder if by this time next year we will see new concept art for phase 2 start to show up?
Personally I hope the play areas gets integrated more in small areas thoughout the land, including adding some caves and things to explore and then free up that large piece of land for a big attraction. I think they could easily relocate a lot of the cooler set pieces and bridges and stuff from the challenge trail area and use the space more efficeintly. If they wanted to add a small theater somewhere else, they might be able to fit one in either on the back path behind GRR's loading area or tucked between the GRR geysers, the monorail beam and the CF restrooms. And of course the path would have to be pushed north to where the airplane is right now.
I do have hope though that they may have bigger plans for that area now then that rendering. But I think it will be a long time before they do everything that ideally should be done.
I'd love to see the Grizzly peak coaster from HKDL come to the area Brother Bear is in.
i honestly don't like the idea of GSS i think that a better concept of that should of been a Condor flats attraction......
thinking of it now, there would be just enough room in that corner to put a GSS.....
but make it a "flight training facility for young pilots at heart" :D
Condor Flats ain't broke, they shouldn't waste money on fixing it. I don''t see any need for a complete redo. utting more 1930's elements would be a nice touch though. Maybe rename it after the Airfield from Rocketeer or something. It would be a good blend from the 30's LA area in the hub. The aviation theme rocks and is perfect for Soarin, still one of the best attractions at the Resort.
Except like most of DCA, Condor Flats was designed around Soarin' not the other way around. The land needs something more than just one attraction.
So....any ideas for when bountiful valley farm. Will meet it's demise to become maters junkyard jamboree
Just because it's an 'underwater' theme? Nope, don't follow your logic.
Why isn't it themed to Finding Nemo in that case? If they rename the
attraction by slapping Ariel's name on it like they did when they changed
'Avalon Cove' into 'Ariel's Grotto' I'd agree. Luckily they're not, so I'm not following you.
