Just because it's an 'underwater' theme? Nope, don't follow your logic.
The name of the ride is a quote from Sebastian when he sees the fireworks off Eric's ship in the movie. He turns and "Jumpin' jellyfish!"

Also, Ariel's Grotto is up for a refurb and theme change in the not so distant future, though we don't have any hard confirmation and dates on that that I know of. But rumor has it that it will be rethemed to "Princess Palace." I'm pretty sure it will stay more or less the same in format, just be more generic princess rather than Ariel themed. So really TLM and JJ will be it for Ariel.

    EDIT: And KTC... thanks Ckelef1.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

does anyone have ideas to replace a bug's land since it does seem out of place because once the expansion is over, DCA will mostly be about Walt being in California for the first-time, California in the old days..etc.

    So, any ideas?

Jumping Jellyfish is hardly Mermaid except for the name, there are no images of character, music from the movies, etc. BUT I am guessing that will change when the Mermaid ride opens next year.

I have an idea, but has nothing to do with what you said

    Disneyland has the DRR
Tokyo disneysea has the transit streamliner
Should the California zephyr become transportation for the park?

It would have stops at BVS, CL, and paradise pier

Or.. Should the red car have stops all throughout the park, like an internal railroad

the red cars seem to be DCA's call to Disney Sea Electric Railway.

I don't think it'd be able to go around the perimeter of the park with the GCH and monorail tracks RIGHT THERE. Besides, the red trolleys will definitely do a great job of saving walking and going from place to place: it will provide quick access to BVS, TOT, and the entrances to Bug's land and Carsland ! After the Tram cars are in use, the longest straight walk from point A to point B will be from Carthay Circle theatre to Paradise Pier.

If any other means of transportation are added, it should be an old 1930s Yosemite touring car, that would drive peole from the hub, through Golden state park, and end at the San Fransisco Street, and turn back. The cars would look like this:

Or just like the old tour car parked in front of GHC:

They were gonna have those cars go through ECR. For the past month I have been asking whether or not they are still doing it

Such a lovely place, such a lovely--Okay I'll shut up now.

Anyway, I have a concern about the soundtrack playing in Paradise Pier. Now that PP is being rethemed to a victorian fairground, I know that the remixed organ carnivalish 60's music isn't going to fit in at all. So are they going to change the music anytime soon?

I apologize if this was discussed too recently. :P

Well, there's new music on the other side of the bay, near the WOC viewing area. More of a ragtime approach, and not synthy. I dunno if it'll be replaced on the other side, though.

Yes actually, new backround music premiered with the opening at Paradise Park
[ame=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nsXDV16WT9M]YouTube - Disney's California Adventure Paradise Park Atmosphere Music Sample[/ame]

However, Most of the speakers in PP are still playing Beach Boys, so the two sounds are not smooth transitions, but the music will soon all sound like this.
