^ Very interesting looks pretty cheesy though
i like it. I am really enjoying the dedication that Burbank, WDI and TDA are placing to make DCA's new addition part of the overall RESORT offerings. for too many years they neglected to include DCA in any of the big promotional events. Now it seems like they are not afraid to really liven up the entertainment part of DCA and involve it in the festivities so that guests have lots to look forward too in that park along with Disneyland.
slowly they are really trying to be a bit more like OLC and have both parks filled with things to do along with attractions
now why can't they come up with a interesting storyline and a few more puppets and give us a broadway musical for the Hyperion that uses puppetry like this. Something that does not follow any of the Disney movies scene by scene.
It kind of reminds me of the innovative puppets used for the Lion king musical
Imagine several dozen of these puppets from characters of all movies both classic and new intertwined with six or seven floats and lots of LED lights to create a fun energetic night time parade through DCA
alright guys, time for a R&D
2010, 2 big attractions open up in 2 SoCal theme parks
Radiator Springs Racers in DCA
Transformers in USH
which do you think will be more popular?
btw, i can only post 7 more times this week :(
I disagree about finding this type of event at TDR. If they were doing it, it would definitely not look like something you could pick up on clearance at Party City. I have been to many special events there, and they scream of money and never appear cheap, even if we do not like the asthetics or design.
I thought they were referring to the other cheesy decor around the Pseudo Hub and HPB. These puppets? Yes, cool. They look like something from WDW, though. TDR would have many performers, not a few puppets to take up visual space.
The puppets are very cool though. Glad to see there is money being spent on this Glow Fest-a-ma-bob.
These puppets will be a part of Glow Fest, correct? And not somehow tie into the caravan to the viewing area? I'm betting the puppets lead the color groups to their respective areas. Has this been mentioned somewhere?
the puppets are part of the pre-show Carnivale of Color. insider67 said they will also have dancers in addition to the puppets.
Glow Fest is a separate event in Sunshine Plaza and HPB.
