Great pics!!! Anyways, I don't know if this has been answered, but are the Red Cars going to be built as the original scale, or are they going to be downsized a little.

That's an interesting question concerning the scale of RCT. I'm curious as well. Know what would be great...with what seems like a lot of attention to RCT and everything, it would be great to see an article by Steve DeGaetano about the specifics RCT and maybe a comparison to the original ones once RCT open. His articles are so detailed and informative.

As HSM3 was going backstage, I noticed a circle structure going up behind the walls.

Looks like the structure seen in Ron W's photos above...

They are downsized, as are two of the locomotives on the Disneyland Railroad. The track gauge is narrower than the originals, and the trolleys themselves have been "selectively compressed" to fit in with the smaller scale.

    I'm guessing that's Flo's going up, since it's right next to Ramone's.

Interesting update from Mr. Lutz today...this expansion has already played out as a success and much earlier than anticipated by TDA. The numbers for DCA are quite an impressive improvement over last years, especially considering that only SSS and WOC opened. Just wait until next year when the hugely anticipated Little Mermaid ride opens with GSS and Paradise Gardens as icing on that cake. It's gonna be a hassle to get through the entrance of the park with it all under construction but well worth it. Exciting times we are in right now for not only DCA but the DLR as a whole.

There may now be some cement going up on the side of the Cars Land rockwork we can't see from inside the park - anyone able to confirm this?

We know that Radiator Springs Racers opens in 2012. Do you think that there is any possibility that the main drag of Carsland will be finished earlier so that people can get in, see how it is looking but before the main attraction is done? Build some buzz and also open up some space?

Roger Rabbitt didn't open until the year after ToonTown so it has been done before? Just seems odd that buildings are already going up.

Interesting, I never knew that about Roger Rabbit. Maybe they will do that, if crowd control gets to be too much. But I'm sure if they had their way, they wouldn't open up Carsland until everything was done. I'd imagine there might be a concern that if they open the area up early, people might realize there's nothing there, and then not go on Radiator Springs Racers when it's finished, because they'll be so used to having nothing to do in that land.

Or I could be totally wrong.

I think insider67 mentioned this several days ago.

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

I don't know if I buy into the idea of numbers being up and STAYING there. A new hugely marketed show has just opened (for which you have to be in the park early to obtain tickets), along with a nighttime street party with cocktails. . .of course numbers will be up. Gate count staying up like this through the fall and winter, especially with no new offering and no Halloween party in DCA this year will be very telling if WOC will continue to pull in those numbers. Getting into the show is a hassle for some, not as easy as Fantasmic, and I have to wonder if people will give up after seeing it once.
