Glowfest is fine, but not where it is... Maybe if they had it somewhere with only one entrance so that you werent forced to walk through it to get to things like ToT.

The one area of the park dedicated to kids? lol

For a specific conversation on the alcohol topic, I suggest we meander over to this post to keep the tracker tracking.

Having it fully rendered wouldn't fill the site with props. The perimeter will obviously have props, but the ride area itself will be barren, which is what is missing from the rendering and animatic that people are concerned about.

The renderings have tons of stuff and props on the ride. The one now in BSC seemed that way.

(Height restrictions are a safety/legal issue.) Therefore, my belief going off of Walt's belief is that if an attraction or place in a Disney park is going to exclude a group of individuals because of their age then it does not belong in a Disney theme park. (I feel this way about the bar in Paradise Pier also, but that's an entirely different topic -- that's been beaten to death.)

If you are going to use Walt's intentions as the driving rule for the parks, then there should be NO alcohol sold in the parks. If Glow Fest is really going to be a successful Disney endeavor, then it should be able to stand on it's own WITHOUT alcohol.

all this back and forth about Maliboomer. You DO realize you're arguing about a ride in an AMUSEMENT PARK LAND right? If it stays, if it goes... it's not that big of a deal. There's a lot more left to do to DCA before the Maliboomer becomes the biggest eyesore.

And that, my fellow MiceChatter, was my point.

The theme of the Amusement Park Land is early 20th century, when there was no such thing as a Maliboomer type ride. So, to maintain the early 20th century Amusement Park Land theme, they need to remove the out of theme ride.

Of course, playing carny games on giant video screens is within the theme because it's cool.

Then take out Screamin' because there were no launching roller coaster rides, take out TSMM because there were no spinning 3-D shooting type rides and stop building TLM because there were no omnimover type rides.

Oh it's this conversation again. I've taken my stand before, no need to be a broken record.
