Just don't deny me the image Mint provided of that child, in pink, losing herself in her own dreams, in the futures she might see down that street, in who she might become. She might just save us all.

I did ask this a couple days ago but maybe some people didn't see it.

Does anyone have a rough idea of how much of BVS will be complete by July 2011? I know the whole Paradise Pier area will be finished by then, but BVS is kinda in limbo around that time. Will we be using it as the park entrance?

I know I've asked this before, but I'm looking to book my first trip to DL. We are looking at 6/11/11. Will TLM be running by then?

BVS is slated to finish with Carsland in 2012 and and TLM should be opening right around that time (the 6/11/11 date)

Actually I have no idea, I can ask around but by the time I find out it may be done

Im sure by July they will have some structural steel will be up and the work walls will engulf the rest of the plaza. Yeah we might be using another entrance by that time, but it all comes down on if they are going to continue to build one side and then do the other.

I'm just glad they finally started some construction on BVS. Looking forward to seeing the new partners statue too.

I can't really think of any reason, though I'm sure there is, except for water features within the ride itself. That feels a bit far fetched to me for just an omnimover system, but I will admit that it is possible, and I was wondering if anyone had any more insight into what the large water supply could be for. Thanks for any answers!

they are drainage for the HVAC units on the roof.

They are for storm drainage, you could see the labels in one of Macro's pictures. A condensate drain wouldn't need to be that big.

Does anybody else have doubts about TLM actually being complete and running by next June? Mind you I'm no construction expert, but based on how much work that appears to still need doing, I'm wondering if it can all get done in six or seven months. From all the openings in the outer walls, it looks like the interior is still primarily structure, duct work and plumbing. I really hope it opens on time.

The outside looks like its a long ways off but you should see the inside, they are a lot further along than you think as far as the ride system and the scene construction goes.

Any idea when the actual ride vehicles (sea shells) will show up?
