I think the best decision for something new in the Maliboomer's spot would be something taller than the surrounding Screamin' helix and SSS, but not nearly as tall as the fun wheel. That way, there's at least a sort of symmetrical form to the panoramic backdrop of Paradise Pier.

This could be cool. I know a lot of other people have also suggested a "tunnel of love" type attraction which would showcase various "love scenes" in Disney movies. These could include, but are not limited to:

• Bambi & Faline (sp?)
• Wall-E & Eve
• Aladdin & Princess Jasmine
• Snow White & Prince Charming
• Ariel & Prince Eric
• Pocahontas & John Smith
• Simba & Nala ("...pinned ya again!")

Here's hoping something starts getting produced soon!

It appears part of the first floor of the show building is in place as well. On the right, closest to the parade building, that would be the vehicle maintenance area.

For the vacant ex-boomer spot I agree that it should be a funhouse but featuring an original character like gustav tinkerschmidt's evil twin or something. The ride should be trackless and rely heavily on sfx like the upcoming mystic manor.

As to why a tunnel of love wouldn't work, it would be criticized for lacking a story like woc and also the pier will already have tlm coming in, it needs some masculinity to pull those boys on over.

Pigeon Point Lighthouse, on the southern approach to San Francisco Bay, is 115 feet tall. Donald Duck has an animated short, Lighthouse Keeping. There are plenty of reasons for having a lighthouse at Paradise Pier. So, tear down Maliboomer if you want. I think that a fun ride inside an oversized lighthouse placed on the current footprint of Maliboomer would be stunning addition to that portion of the park. And don't worry. You don't have to have the light illuminate all 360 degrees, for those PPH guests and outside the resort.
