hmmm, I didn't even notice that! LOL. It's not that much of a big difference IMO. It's still an effective scene. And they used more than 3 flamewhips. They were just off frame.

The show being able to change compared to the show not working are two different things.. This show has not been open a year and has had more problems then any other technical marvel Disney has created. I just find it very sad. Like any show on Broadway, or in the parks.. every guest pays the same, every guest should see the same show (to a certain extent, of course things can be added) I am in a show right now, we have 22 perfomances.. and whether its opening night or the 15th show.. it has to be the same. Im just sad that WOC has so many issues.. from fountains not working, to the platform, and now the fire. A show that has been in development as long as this show should not have so many issues. And until the issues are fixed, guests are not seeing the same quality show that they could have when it opened.

Disagree on a couple counts. While Disney is expected to put on the highest quality show night and night out. Technical problems are bound to happen. Take for example Fantasmic it is programmable so if the mark twain isnt working or the dragon fails they can just seamlessy cut it out. The same thing happens with the fireworks, scenes or shells could get cut or even with a parade . While we do expect disney to always hold the highest standard , I think its fair when theses shows are very complexed technically , that every once in a while things may not go as expected. but as the show goes on it will get better.

Agree with this! Disney shows have technical issues ALL the time! They always make concessions, but basically, most importantly, THE SHOW GOES ON!! Imagine if they just cancelled WOC altogether on any given night when something doesnt work, people will go nuts! Its either that or a small alternate in the show that I'm guessing only us Disney dweebs even notice.

That said, I do agree they need to close it for a small rehab for a few weeks or even months to work out the kinks. It running every night of the year isnt helping. Maybe in the off season, its possible it can happen since that would be the lowest demand for it.

Cool, although its not called day time water show, it's called Disney Channel Rocks. I would like to see the whole show. Do you think you can record the whole thing from the viewing area from beginning to end? Like without editing parts out (I notice you do that alt on your videos and only put the best parts) That'd be awesome!

I know this show is called Disney Channel Rocks, but I want to call it "Day Time Water Show" because I'm just showing the water and not the actual show. Since a lot of people on this forum dislike this show because it doesn't fit with the 1920's Victorian Theme and because this show is horrible.... is actually a really good show.

I also recorded the full show up close, but will try not to post it on this forum because majority never seem to watch it. So check out my Youtube channel for the full show which I might upload soon.

Just saw WoC and full fire was in hellfire and finale tonight. Guess the alternative was just a one time thing.

At this point to stop WOC for a long rehab would be a bad decision. DCA has finally seen its numbers rise and WOC seems to be the one bringing the guests in.

The amount of construction that is going on although exciting to most of us could at times be a bit frustrating to guests with DCA's sudden success the last thing that it needs is for guests to arrive at the park and have little to do to keep them occupied the whole day.

Lets also forget that soon the parade will go on haitus for a whole year and more construction walls will go up leaving a maze of walls surrounding guests pathways and no major entertainment for them to see if WOC is down for rehab.

I could see maybe shutting the show down for a few days or maybe a couple weeks but the best time would be right after the holidays during the 2fer promotion even then they risk the ability to sell the park to the locals that usually wait for that time of year to visit. Positive word of mouth among locals that visit the resort during that time could be very powerful but if the park is void of a parade, water show, half of Paradise Pier, The entrance and farmland behind walls then i doubt those guests would come back home raving about the park.

If WOC and the boardwalk all lit up was the last thing they saw there is a bigger chance that no matter how their day went that spectacle would be what they will remember the most of their day

I recall reading that the 2fer might not happen this year due to construction. I wish I could tell you where I read this, but i just can't remember.

I would like to motion that discussion of which show elements are/are not working today be moved to a Maintenance Tracker thread where maintenance issues can be discussed. New uses for the WoC infrastructure should continue to be discussed here, but discussion os working/non-working elements is no longer relevant to tracking DCA's progress.

    And one second the motion?

Our revels now are ended. These our actors, As I foretold you, were all spirits and Are melted into air, into thin air: And, like the baseless fabric of this vision, The cloud-capp'd towers, the gorgeous palaces, The solemn temples, the great globe itself, Yea, all which it inherit, shall dissolve And, like this insubstantial pageant faded, Leave not a rack behind. We are such stuff As dreams are made on, and our little life Is rounded with a sleep. mycroft16 on Twitter

i would be very surprised if they did that. The 2fer has been very successful and brings lots of guests to the resort during the slowest part of the year. The 2fer or pre DCA "Southern California salute" has been around for many years. They knew that by discounting park tickets to 50% off they could bring in the locals during a time that no major holiday was around to promote.

Wondering If any noticed this or not, but according to Disneyland.com Electronica is running till Midnight regularly, and I am wondering If they keep it going an extra two hours after the park closes, or is this just simply a mistake on the website. Also, have Fantasmic and WoW starting doing three shows nightly yet?
