Exclamation WOC opening day: Who's going, how, and when?

Okay. Not that there aren't enough threads for this show already, but this is specifically for opening day of WOC. Now if they can fit 6,000 people a show, just how many of us are actually gonna be there at opening? Couldn't be that many right...right? Also, who's planning on sleeping over? I'm just trying to get a feel for what the atmosphere is gonna be like. I should be there sometime between 6am and 7, and then will just wait and see.

i'm going june 11, but i'm doing a dining package. so i won't be getting there early and clawing my way for a fastpass lol. the only reason i would want to go early on friday is to sit back and witness the craziness...and capture the moment in picture form to share with all of mice chat haha

I'd do the dining package, but they're completely sold.

Well since I have to work looks like I can't get a fastpass that early. I thought of doing the picnic basket but the time I get to the park I'm not going to be hungry. So I just plan on sticking around DCA and try and get a spot somewhere around the bay and hope there is a 3rd show announced to have a chance to view it from Paradise Park.

im gonna be there on the 11th for my sisters birthday but im not sure about woc anymore because they made it so complicated with show pass and the dining packages picnics etc. Like i think it'd be easier if it was first come first serve but not let people camp out and stuff. so im most likely gonna buy a picnic thing

I got the dinning plan for the 13th, but what is this talk of a FastPass? What does it do, and how does it work? Thanks!

even though i saw WoC already, i'm excited about going on Friday. i consider it a special occasion for the park and it sounds like fun to be there when the madness begins. i was thinking of arriving 30 min. before the park opens. good idea? hmm?... hmm? i'm sure there will be plenty of showpasses left

I am planning on getting there super early and getting a showpass. Then I'm going to go home for the day and come back at night to see the show.

So it is my understanding that the pumbaa lot will be open early for this. Does anyone know when it will be opening on Friday and how soon I should start heading over to DCA to line up for the showpass?

I'll be there on the 11th and 12th. But I won't be watching WoC, I'll save it for another day. I can't imagine how crowded it's going to get.

I'm going to be there. We opted to do a dining package since we didn't feel like camping out the night before to try and get a fastpass.

All talked about it in his articles.
    Several threads talked about it.

We are going for a friends b-day. Her b-day is the 11th.
She'll be there (on the 11th) as we drive from AZ on the 11th.
So by the time we get there, the park will be closed.
We'll be there the 12 and 13th, but not sure about catching WOC.
We'll see if we want to do it on the 12th. Not sure yet.

We're here at the Resort right now. We're here for the week and will be enjoying the 9pm WOC show on the 11th. We will be having an early dinner at the Trattoria (dining plan).

Lots of stuff to do until then!

    Have a blast!

I wish I was smart enough to do that when they announced it. I mean.. dinner and a show? It doesn't get any easier than that!

So now I'm just gonna be grabbing my party's APs and going in early to try and get ourselves a fast pass. And then sleeping in the lobby of the hotel, who knows.
