Practically Perfect Tea

Does anyone know why they stopped doing the Practically Perfect Tea at Paradise Pier Hotel? My mom and I loved having afternoon tea with Mary Poppins. We'd leave the rest of the family to go do rides while she and I would head over to the hotel for tea. I loved the tea sandwiches and it was fun to have Mary come around and talk to people and take pictures. I was bummed when I saw that they discontinued it.

I have no idea why they discontinued it.
I loved it too. I was only able to go once, I took my then 4 year old little girl and she was in heaven, absolutly in heaven (Mary was her current favorite charctor)
the sandwiches and sweets were good, the tea good, the presentation wonderful.
6 1/2 years later and she is still talking about it. on our ast 2 trips she wanted to go again.
It was a really special thing for mothers and daughters (I did see a couple dads and little boys, but it was mostly moms and daughters)

and the price for the "meal" (snack) I initially thought was high (I don't even remember what it was anymore) but the memories are priceless...

I wish we could do it again.

I liked the Practically Perfect Tea, but as a substitute, I'd like to attend a Mad Tea Party...

I never got to go to this.....tried to get reservations twice, but it was booked for the days we were there. Then another time, my daughter didn't want to go....and since then it's been canceled. I've always really really wanted to go!

Our first trip after it was canceled Mary Poppins came to our table at Goofy's Kitchen....somehow not the same thing.
