    World of Color Christmas Edition!

Step Into Disney's 'World of Color' - ABC News

Many people told me it would WAY to much work to ever change the show when every they wanted (this was back 6 months ago) but after seeing this video (and the fact that many scenes were taken out and changed). This makes me believe that one day we will have a Christmas (and or) Halloween World of Color Show.
Also this means new additions From old or new movies (Rapunzel) could be added every couple of years.

    What do you think?

Changes might be good every once in a while, but the staying power of any of Disney's newest movies will be tested by the years, so overall it will take time.

I think Steven Davison said that there would be holiday shows in the future, not this year but maybe next.

I would love a Holiday show, but give it a year or two.

Another problem is that I can't imagine guests being cool with the potential of getting wet during a cold winter night.
    I know I certainly wouldn't.

I'm hoping for maybe a little patriotic segment at the end of the shows for the 4th of July weekend this year. I think they can pull it off.
Finish each day and be done with it. You have done what you could. Some blunders and absurdities no doubt crept in; forget them as soon as you can. Tomorrow is a new day; begin it well and serenely and with too high a spirit to be encumbered with your old nonsense.

Not this year. Everything is still new and getting dialed in for this year's normal show. Expect a Christmas version next year, once all of the current bugs are out.

They should be flexible enough to add whatever holiday is coming up.

Could you imagine if they had a show for Valentine's Day?

    The list is endless!

    From Yesterland:

Disney will use the World of Color infrastructure for a holiday show. Its a natural move, given the success of holiday versions of Disneyland shows and attractions. In an interview for the D23 website, Steven Davison, vice president, Parades & Spectaculars, Walt Disney Imagineering Creative Entertainment, explained, We will do a holiday show and probably a Halloween show. World of Color is as endless as your imagination. We have some great ideas for Christmas that will surprise everybody, that will totally do new things.
I swear, I must be posting this quote three times a week.

I thought there was going to be a brief "encore" at the end of the performance. That sounds like it could be changed easily to reflect whatever holiday was being observed. Just a thought.
As nice as the other parks are, we must always remember that it all began at Disneyland. Disneyland should be the crown jewel in the Disney crown.

You know they could add a little to the end of the show advertising what the new show would look like.

    Sort of like a promo.

And don't forget, Steve also talked about using the fountains a little, during the day, too.

Oooh! During the summer to get people wet! That would be fun!

That would be more like IllumiNations, which currently just puts "tags" on the end of the show, instead of having full-length seasonal shows, (which they used to have.)

Steven Davison has said that these shows would be full-length.
