Yeah I want video, visuals and sounds from this street party too.
Just checked YouTube and only came up with this Android phone video that features no sound at all and seems to be a blurred vision attempt but hey, at least it's something.

its nice too see backlot area with some life after dark. It almost looks like one big New Years eve party in the middle of summer
I checked out Glow Fest after the first WOC show. From what I saw, teens and twenty somethings were having a great time. One Disney performer seemed to correct a male guest who was bumping and grinding, using hand gestures to explain no hip swivels. It was funny since the guy was just having a good time.
My take on it is this, not many kids were there. Parents and their kids seemed to vacate the area. Partying adults though were having a great time. A lot of booze was being sold, so I think it will continue.
But this is not a family event. Too much drinking and no characters means that it is not exactly kid-friendly. But as a young adult party, it was great. But don't expect Gramma to participate. (You definitely don't want to see her swiveling her hips!)

Love Disneyland and Walt Disney World!
i wonder how the glow fest affected the capacity of the Alladin evening shows if guests with families were staying away from the party atmosphere
I'm a little new to the Glow Fest discussion...
Isn't Glow Fest the area where people line up for WOC? If that's true, why wasn't it made to be kid friendly? I can't see a family with a couple of little ones standing in an outdoor dance bar.
Am I misunderstanding when/how this happens?
Thanks for the clarification :-)

Goddd that looks like a club, NOTHING related to ANYTHING disney ANYTHING. i would hate to be in that environment, at least CMs weren't allowing bumping and grinding -shiver-
Why does everything disney do have to be clean, church sunday, watch your language environment. Its not the 1950s anymore your allowed to wear jeans and look semi-formal and Disney is allowed to throw a different style party. If its not your cup of tea then dont participate. But dont say its not Disney because it obviously is when its in a Disney park.
I shiver at the fact that disney is believed to be a museum.

actually that's not true, they were playing Disney remixes by Pogo.Originally Posted by Fish_in_water

I thought it was fun. Very Loud, festive atmosphere - with a lot of lights and projections. Basically a big party environment.. I thought it was great, but not for everyone.
I'd say it's a pretty good complement to WoC -- a nice place to unwind from the huge crowds in the PP area.
