World Of Color Ideas Already :P

So, I have a few small ideas for World of Color...

Like originally planned, switch Pocahontas/Spring Sprite with Ariel...Aladdin.

As Up ends, show the house flying over to Paradise Falls and docking (use other mediums to project on, maybe even on the loop). Also, add colorful, circular fountains near the screen as the balloons make their way up. Then pan from the falls to desert as "Arabian Nights" starts and we go into the Cave of Wonders. Music builds until Genie makes his entrance and "Friend Like Me" begins as it does now. Then, sand swirls that turn into leaves, leading to Heimlich.

The show continues through Pirates (except Capt. Jack is replaced by a fountain effect). Villains continue. As Dr. Facillier appears, "Friends On The Other Side," with fire and fountains starts. He might say something like "This world of color is about to get alot darker..." as he summons fire. This goes into "Firebird/Hellfire." With the use of trumpets, the fountains turn blue and we think all is well. Until, Ursula begins to laugh. A faster,m ore menacing "Poor Unfortunate Souls" plays, with her body formed out of Water Whips and fountains. This leads into Monstro chasing up out of the water and onto dry land as the dancing fire re-appears and turns into the Queen of Hearts. In a trippy Wonderland scene, we get chased by cars (project them on falling fountains caving in) until we spiral out and are trapped in the Well of Souls (or whatever it's called), being laughed at by Hades (on the front screen). He is surrounded by fire as he moves along the Bay, summoning Queen Narissa of "Enchanted." She says "You want a show?" as the music of "Hellfire" builds like in the end, before she morphs into the Firebird and all the fire goes on. NOTE: this happens in the time of 5 minutes.

Now, the rest of the show is the same, minus Tiana being replaced in "So Close" by either Remy and Linguni looking at each other all buddy-like OR Princess Giselle (animated) in her forest dress, looking at Prince Edward (she is in his arms).

The final change is the end of the Princess segment leading into the finale:
As Cinderella transforms, the music morphs into the theme from "Little Mermaid" as we see Ariel looking down at her legs appearing on the rock cutting to her walking from the water in a sparkly dress. As this theme builds, we see Pinocchio become a real boy. Then, the ramping-up leads to the million points of light. Next, the fountains are light-less and low, moving in waves. In rhythm to the drumbeats leading to the theme, random colored fountains pop up and hold. As each four-count goes (in dance terms), the speed of them popping up doubles until it all goes crazy and scattered so all fountains shoot up. A projection of Tink appears in the loop instead of how she does now. The finale continues on. The fire burst is moved to the final note, as more fountains fill the spot.

Sorry for the wordiness, it's hard to explain. I don't dislike the show, I love it. But these area ideas.

Wall-E was really cute and a good segway into Toy Story. But perhaps it should use one of the more exciting scenes of the movie.
I was surprised to see no Cars! (good, cuz I HATE THAT MOVIE!!)

I wasn't surprised at all, considering it's getting a whole land a few hundred feet away.

LOVE the Villan portion! The only three complaints about the show I have is (1) the Lion King segment transitioning to "So Close". I really do not get the whole "Mufasa is dead.... now kiss a princess?" This part could really use some more thought to enhance the story arc. (2) I love wall-e, but the segment was too long! (3) Also, cut pirates! It is the WORST part of the show! Other than those three, I think WoC is AMAZING!!!!

Wall-E is fine because visually is one of the more beautiful scenes in the show. The real problems are the "A Whole new World" and "Part of your World" sequences which drag on.

from where I was standing it was hard to see.
There were other scenes that I felt were a little more visual pleasing.

On the one hand. I completely agree with you. I don't want to see any live action crap in a colorful/animated show.
On the other hand, I love that music haha. Maybe just keep the pirate ship and the music? But that just doesn't fit with the "story" at all.
So I guess it would be better to just get rid of it.

I like some of your ideas MT. I for one was disappointed that none of the villains in WoC sang their songs. I at least thought Scar would... no dice.
I would love if some of the villains songs were included like you suggested.

While I like your ideas... I really don't want to see any more Little Mermaid in the show. I know they need to advertise/hype for the new attraction a few hundred feet away, but I feel like 2 songs in the show is already pushing it.

If I forgot to mention, "Part Of Your World" is now orchestration, not singing. It comes after Pocahontas, like once planed. Also, the "green flash" in my version goes from orange to pink to purple to blue until it slowly goes down, except for a strip in the middle that becomes the river.

The idea for "So Close" transition was that they said how all these characters are "So Close" and then when they sing "But Yet So Far", they transition to Belle and the Beast... and Beast appears as if dead. Then she says "I Love You" and true love conquers sadness and fear and the finale begins.

The only thing that's really painful for me to watch is the segment in the beginning and the end ("Beauty Untold is Ours to Behold..." and the very start of the finale) where there's, like, blankness with 2 fountains "framing" a picture that's not in the center of the stage. CLEARLY these were the points where Little Squirt would have made the biggest impact, in the beginning summoning the blast of color and at the end jumping back into the quote just before the big finale.

Either fill the holes with a little more interesting fountain-action or pleeese put Little Squirt in, if only for these 2 scenes.
Do do do do do do dodododododo!
