I just got word of a couple new food options coming to DCA next month for the rest of the summer. The OC Register is reporting that Disney is bring in Food Trucks to give additional options to the World of Color crowds. I am unaware if it is just these two food additions, or more.
First is one I have yet to try, "Barcelona OntheGo" will be serving Spanish/Argentinean food options such as Lentil Soup with Smoked Ham, Chicken & Seafood Paella, Serrano Ham Sandwich and Manchego Cheese Croquettes. Sounds amazing!
The second food option will be the second orange country truck of "Kogi BBQ" serving up Korean/Mexican infusion such as Korean Short Rib Tacos, Spicy Pork Burritos and my favorite, the Blackjack Quesadilla.
I am glad Disney is doing this as I always wanted new and exciting food options inside Disneyland. Let's pray that Disney doesn't change their mind before July 15th. I have been told by Big E of Kogi that the food truck is supposed to be under the bridge leading into DCA. He also mentioned that Disney requested they raise the food prices to match the rest of the theme park... but that Kogi said no. I hope this stays this way.
