Additional Food options - DCA - July 15 to Aug 22

    Hey Everyone,

I just got word of a couple new food options coming to DCA next month for the rest of the summer. The OC Register is reporting that Disney is bring in Food Trucks to give additional options to the World of Color crowds. I am unaware if it is just these two food additions, or more.

First is one I have yet to try, "Barcelona OntheGo" will be serving Spanish/Argentinean food options such as Lentil Soup with Smoked Ham, Chicken & Seafood Paella, Serrano Ham Sandwich and Manchego Cheese Croquettes. Sounds amazing!

The second food option will be the second orange country truck of "Kogi BBQ" serving up Korean/Mexican infusion such as Korean Short Rib Tacos, Spicy Pork Burritos and my favorite, the Blackjack Quesadilla.

I am glad Disney is doing this as I always wanted new and exciting food options inside Disneyland. Let's pray that Disney doesn't change their mind before July 15th. I have been told by Big E of Kogi that the food truck is supposed to be under the bridge leading into DCA. He also mentioned that Disney requested they raise the food prices to match the rest of the theme park... but that Kogi said no. I hope this stays this way.

So Am I... but it's still good news.

I'm betting that Disney got bad surveys in regards to the food after the crowds descended upon DCA for WoC.

I wish I could find a second source in regards to Kogi.. but I can't seem to find a second one. Not that I don't trust Big E, he does deal with Kogi's permits to be in different locations. I'm waiting for them to mention it on their Twitter account.

    Amazing!

Now if only they could have these food options in park restaurants, and not continually opening places with usual park fare!

Am I the only one who doesn't want that big ugly truck parked in DCA? The Glow Fest one is already bad enough....

Kogi BBQ has one of the BEST Mexican/Korean tacos ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! mmmmm is so good. The line for Kogi is always long because is that popular! I waited for 50 minutes just to try their famous tacos.

Everyone should all try it....is so yummy better than your normal Mexican tacos

Pretty sad that Disney has to bring in outside food vendors to be able to serve decent food.

That being said, I will for sure check them out.

50 minutes? that's actually really short... back when there was only one truck with its location being advertised 'secretly' on twitter.. the line would get up to 3.5 hours!!

i want me some Korean Short Rib Burrito!! so excited for this!!

No your not alone. I'm sure the food will be tasty but not excited about the "big ugly truck". LOL
