New Dress Code for CM's (merged threads)

Score one for CM's. Now that Disney management realizes that the southern California sun rivals hell for heat during summers, it seems the suits have altered the dress code a bit.

That article fails to mention the fact that most of those changes apply only to people with desk jobs, not to hourly CMs in the parks or even in-park management.

Unless they have revamped everything I believe there are Code 90 and Code 95 costume modifications available to hourly CM's within the park. I was also told that some of this applies to management as well (although I knew plenty of managers who would simply chose an attraction costume to skirt around it as well).

This is good news for those type of people that need to walk through the park regularly on a hot day.

By 2030, they'll be able to wear bikinis and flip-flops.

I love this comment at the end.

Speaking of Disney characters updating their look, check out what Miley Cyrus has been wearing lately as she sheds her carefully crafted "Hannah Montana" image.

Again, this is only for the higher-ups who rarely if ever set foot outside of TDA during their workday. Hourly CMs will still be held to the same Disney Look standards as always, even if that means wearing wool or polyester outside in the summertime. (But hey, you can roll up your sleeves! That helps in 103 degree weather, right?)

Disneyland has loosened their dress code.

Women no longer have to wear panty hose, and men don't have to tuck in thier shirts.. While I can understand the first one, (panty hose are expensive and they don't hold up.) I think the second is a little sloppy...

Oh and tanks tops are now allowed as long as the strap is 3 inches are more.

No more panty-hose at Disneyland and other park changes
