    June 2010: The Month of Color

    This summer, I will be posting my summer trips based on months. This TR thread will cover all of my trips made in June.

    June 6th: A World Of Color Revealed!

    I arrived at DLR around lunchtime. June 6th was the first day of CM previews of World of Color and my sister took me to the preview. Our show was at 10pm. I went early to play at the parks to burn off time.

    I went to DCA while C!ASP was going on at DL to check out Paradise Pier.

    Activity wouldn't be seen until 8pm when they were setting up for the show.

    Rode Screamin while I was there.

    Then headed back to DL for a quick visit to Pixie Hollow at their closing time.

    Saw Silvermist first then Tink.

    If you look closely, you can see Flotsam and Jetsam's tails. THey were bringing the props out.

    Around 7:30, I headed to DCA's gates to meet up with my sister who just got off her shift.




    One was for me, the other 2 was for my sister and her boyfriend who joined us after he clocked out of screamin and the last one was intended for my friend but couldn't make it.

    Because it was a preview, no photos or video taping was permitted.

    Lets say that even before the park closed and before we went to Paradise Park, the anicipation and excitement was killing me. My sister noticed it because of how my hands were the entire time and told me to calm down a little. Well, thats what happens when you are eagerly waiting to finally seeing a show in person after following the development for 3 years.

    After the show was done, I went home.

    Tomorrow, I will detail my June 11th Day as I almost spent 24 hours at the resort that day!

    So after 2 full days in a row of walking around disneyland and a four hour practice, I finally understand why my doctor told me to take it easy on my knee I still cant wait to do it again

    June 11th: 24 Hours of Color

    Almost spent 24 hours at DL and DCA for the opening night for World of Color. I went with my friends who also joined and gave a lift to there (can't drive yet). We arrived at the Pumbaa Parking lot around 12:30 AM.

    We thought they were going to keep us in that lot until 5 or 6am. But they told us that we can go to the Transportation Plaza now because theres a line already there.

    When we got there, the line was actually short. It didn't really get long until 5:30. The same time that some of the Grad Nite people were leaving.

    Thanks for a new view. I've never been there that early - the hours between midnight and 6:30 am have always been a mystery to me.

    This was the first time that I obtained one myself. When I went to the CM previews 5 days before, my sister already had the FP's.

    My FP was for the 9pm show in the Blue section (reported as the best section)

    Me and my friends then decided to rest at the GCH lobby since we had time until DL opened.

    One of my friends took off for some reason and me and my other friend decided to kill time at DCA since it's already opened. She had fears of MFW so I decided to take her on it.

    When we got to PP, the fountains were on while various media related things were going on in Paradise Park.
