After a full day's worth of walking and sun the day before, we got to the park around 10:30. The day before I had worn flip flops and my feet were covered in painful blisters. Needless to say I put my tennis shoes on for the remainder of the trip.
My brother and his group all are AP's and so they were blocked out on Saturday. So my mom and I braved the park just the pair of us.
A great ride to start the day.
Before too long, we were getting mighty hungry. So I insisted that we go to the French Market.
I got the Four-Cheese Pasta & Vegetable Gratin.
Then it was off to get my first churro of the trip!
Of course no churro experience is complete without taking the first bite and having cinnamon and sugar dump down into your shirt.
After my delicious churro, we made our way through Frontierland to Fantasyland.
Get 'em, Peter!
After Peter Pan, I realized that we had forgotten all about Toontown! So after Peter, we skipped off (not really) to Toontown.
RRCP had a 45 minute wait, so we grabbed fastpasses for it and explored Mickey's House to kill some time before we could use them.
How'd he know it was my unbirthday!?
After Mickey's House, we still had 45 minutes until our fastpasses were good, so we went sat down and ate some of the snacks that we'd brought.
Mamma and baby duck.
After Roger Rabbit, we took the scenic route to Splash Mountain to use up our fastpass for that. On our way there we watched Marry Poppins and Bert put on a little show. Bert was rather cute.
This ride has my seal of awesomeness approval.
Those are my hands in the way back.
Up next is dinner at the Celebrate Barbeque and Roundup! Stay tooned!
"Well I don't know about you folks, but it's way past my bedtime."
