World of Color Road show SAN FRANCISCO?

I live in SF and I heard that the road show for the WOC starts tomorrow at 9pm-1130pm in SF. But where? I dont want to drive around the entire city to find the "landmark" they are going to be presenting it...

My best guess would be either the presidio or in golden gate park

They aren't announcing where until right before. I live in the valley and was thinking about driving over, but I feel the same way, I don't want to drive all over either.

They're going to have multiple presentations of it, I'd just wait until they announce it then see later this week.

You can't see it in person. You have to watch it online. And they're not announcing the place in San Francisco.

I live across the bay from SF and I heard that too. As everyone else is saying, I guess that you just have to watch it online. But really, what's even the point of having it go on a "roadshow" and be a live performance when we can only watch it online? It's not like only SF residents can see it either, anyone from anywhere can watch it.

SAN FRANCISCO: In San Francisco, the unique animation will be projected onto the façade of a landmark that will be revealed online on Opening Night. The presentation is dedicated to the theme of “Love,” featuring romantic couples from Disney and Disney•Pixar animated films. The live show, presented Wednesday and Thursday, July 7 and 8, will repeat continuously from 9 to 11:30 p.m. Pacific time and will be shot from several different angles for the ongoing, live webcast. Encore webcasts (not live) of the San Francisco show will appear online from 9 to 11:30 p.m. on Friday, Saturday and Sunday, July 9-11.

Isn't it wonderful how specific they are?

Maybe if you recognize where it is when you see it online, you could drive over there as fast as you can, and get into traffic with everyone else that had the same idea as you. The good thing is that it's on a loop, so if you miss the 1st hour it's nbd.

I still don't fully understand exactly what they're doing. Are they showing a video of WOC or just projecting a bunch of lights around the city and going "WEEEEE!!!"?

It sounds more like the "WEEE" option. Kind of lame marketing actually.
In the beginning the Universe was created. This has made a lot of people very angry and been widely regarded as a bad move.

Yeah, I was looking forward to seeing this (originally live somewhere in the city, but it appears that's not happening). Now, not so much. Even if it was being shown live, it doesn't sound like something worth driving into the city for.

Anyone want to guess which building it will be? I am going to guess the St. Francis Hotel facing Union Square.

No, I take that back, the facade has too many setbacks. Ok I am going to guess Fort Point. It has a large flat facade and the view can be framed so that the Golden Gate Bridge will loom over the scene.

Sacramento was announced as 'Old Sacramento', nothing more specific. As this is an easy walk from my place, I am gonna check it out for sure.
