Should post this to the "long-lost" thread #7 -- it has been discussed that there are places in the mansion where the wallpaper pealing effect is intentional, such as in the ballroom where it is actually painted on.
I do not know HM well enough to know where in the mansion that pic is from. It is zoomed in too much.
Daffy: How's this for a new team name: The Ducks!
Bugs: Please! What kind of Mickey Mouse organization would name their team The Ducks?

I'm such a sucker for posting in HM related threads, I prefer to keep my yap shut.
As a former CM, I can tell you that wallpaper peeling, such as presented, IS NOT part of the show.
Guests love to trophy hunt. What better trophy than the mansions iconic wallpaper? I caught many a guest trying to peel the wallpaper, break off the queue bat toppers, steal flowers, and even get Leota's ball.
Wallpaper in the elevators, the elevators are old and require frequent adjustment; should they miss their maintenance, they literally tear themselves apart. So, shredded wallpaper is common. However, in the rest of the attraction, it could either be poor maintenance or trophy hunting. In my experience, its usually the latter.
maintainence cant seem to keep up with the bad things people do... last week everytime I rode the mansion there were 3 soda bottles on the floor by the track over the ball room that sat in the same spot all week longtrash floating in every body of water at the park... People just have no respect

I'm sure it'll get patched up when they close it down at least. Things like that take time to get done I'm assuming on accoint of having to do it before or after park hours.
