What Is up With Hollywood Studios?

Could Someone Please Explain to me what is up with this????

I'd say that you enter Hollywood Blvd of the 1930's and off a side street is Hollywood Studios. No explaining why Hollywood Blvd has a painted backdrop, but it does make Tower of Terror fit in better since a haunted hotel wouldn't be on a movie lot.

Then again, I'm much happier if I try not to think too much about DCA's theme.

what do you need explained???? why its closed off or what? Or is it the color or what? I dont get it.... it seems they are trying to make the area more themed....
