Re: A Guide to Braving the Crowds for World of Color

    EXCELLENT, EXCELLENT GUIDE!!

I will be using your guide .. when I see World of Color for the first time in late Sept. (Naturally .. the summer season will be over - Not sure what the schedules will be .. but nonetheless .. great information!!)

I do wonder though .. when Disney will stop calling them "Fastpasses" .. and call them "Showpasses" ... as that is the more appropriate term used in Tokyo Disneyland and DisneySea shows.

Surely .. the American public understands the "fastpass" term ... and "Showpass" would be ever so slightly confusing ... But there is no "fast" way to seeing WoC .. so I think they ought to change the term at some point.

Great guide. We were lucky to get passes for the yellow section when we went. We also were a bit late for the show (8:37 ish) so we were at the very back, but because the stairs are tiered so we were still able to see everything fine. That being said, I would not suggest being that late, we almost missed out.

    Very very good.

    A few minor updates.

*The black light stands at the front are indicated by the black squares, there is no middle post in front of Y5.
    * There is now another Handicapped section on the top Blue Bridge area right at the B7 label.
    * The VIP Section is the wrong shape.. It is only on the top level and is deeper than the other top viewing areas... with a straight line at the back.

    Wonderful work !

Re: A Guide to Braving the Crowds for World of Color

Great thread, will have to refer friends and family to it.

a bit of topic but does anyone else besides me think there are too many Handicap areas? Everytime i have seen the show there are one or two wheelchairs and maybe a handful of guests in those areas while 2/3 of the spaces are empty and coould easily fit another dozen guests. Now imagine the same situation for every single of those eight hnadicap sections.

(last show i saw i was in the R3 section and there was also another handicap section which took up quite a bit of room and only one wheelchair and two other persons).

The one good thing about that though is that if you stand next to one of those then the handicap section in front of that tier is mostly empty with no guests standing blocking the waters view so maybe i shoudl not mention it LOL

Did that change recently? Every time I've seen it there has been one right there. I've been searching youtube videos and pictures and I keep seeing five large lighting towers. This picture even show the tower right in front of Y5.

Is it about the same width as the handicapped area in front of it? Is there a path running behind it? Also, can anyone else confirm this?

Sorry, I don't understand what the shape looks like.

I was there a couple of weeks ago and this area was roped off for the 11:15 show. It started at the stairs down to b5 and Im pretty sure it went all the way to the arrow labeled "entrance" in the picture but not 100% sure. There was a walkway behind the rope
