    Smile Monsters inc. ride idea

I know a great way to make Monsters Inc. the Ride in DCA better! Since Hollywood land will have a time period now, the back-story of the ride will be that the monsters of Monsters Incorporated found a mysterious door that was left by someone on the scare floor. So they decided to enter it, and they were transported back to 1930's Hollywood! Now they are counting on us to find all of the monsters with flashlights and bring them back to Monstropolis!

(this ride is similar to the hide and go seek attraction in disneyland tokyo)

I'm fine with keeping the attraction how it is

Not much of an idea to it.... I vote rip it out for something original.

I second this, along with maybe putting in a Hide and Go Seek in DL's Fantasyland or Toontown

I'll love to ride your idea, but i'll rather them tear it down for something more fitting.

Well I am glad that you are thinking of ways of trying to tie in the attraction to a 1930s Hollywoodland theme, however, I too feel that instead of updating the ride, let's replace it with something better. Perhaps an original attraction? *gasp*

I like the way Monsters Inc is
Regardless of its poor theming location
It is a place to cool off and escape crowds at Disneyland

Agree. I like your idea! But it's a little far-fetched. It's not your fault really, it's Disney's for kinda rushing the attraction. But I think we need something original in that space.

At the very least, if they're going to put something like Monsters, Inc. into the wrong theme, they could at least put a lot more money into the technology for it.

I like this current theme, but the Limo Stars ride would still fit pretty good.

Keep the Monsters. I could use a change of story, especially if it's an original idea.

    Re: Monsters inc. ride idea

I was actually pleasantly surprised by the quality of the Monsters Inc attraction (it won't fit the new direction they are taking with Hollywoodland though).

But I think this idea is a pretty nice way of fitting the ride to the land, since it is unlikely to be taken out of the park. And it would be nice to have a movie ride that doesn't just retell the movie.

I love it. I hope in time they change the queue and entrance to fit with Hollywoodland.
