re: It'$ That Time of Year(Merged-Price Increases)

The thread that was posted on here was from 2009
    Good morning, son
    In twenty years from now
Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

If the prices have not gone up, nor was it announced, I would like to know what the OP meant with this thread.

I hope the DLR waits a few more days, I'm supposed to go Thursday and my mom will be getting a deluxe, that would suck to have to pay an extra 30 or whatever it will be because of bad timing.

Odds are they will announce the increase a couple days in advance, and IF it's announced for Thursday, your mom can try buying an AP online before then and then activating at the parks.

But back on topic... I'm wondering how these new prices (if there are any) will effect the crowds.
Still that doesn't mean there were "1 million" APs. Just an exaggeration to me, anyways!

Thank God I'm renewing my pass tomorrow. So if any price increases do occur this week, looks like I'll just barely miss them.

And what exactly did I do? I just want to know the real facts about these assumptions of "1 million" APs. I'm not starting trouble, it was a SIMPLE question. And no, I don't think prices may affect crowds, people will visit anyway with all of the new attractions coming soon. The crowds are just something we'll just have to deal with in our own way.

I'm not sure what proof you would like.

I wouldn't think that Disney would publicly release this information, so any information that would make it's way to this site would be second-hand. But on this site (and other fan sites), the high number of AP's is being reported by credible sources.

Credible sources? I'd much rather take the word from an OFFICIAL Disney spokesperson than random credible sources, which are IMO far from the anything true and fabrications.

Then, by all means, please show us when and where an official Disney spokesperson announced anything in this regard, let alone that the estimation of approximately one-million annual passholders is, as you say, "fabrications".

Also, whether or not you are a fan of this site and the folks who work on it, it is a little unjustified to accuse them of being nothing but liars.

Al may not be right every time, but his track record is pretty good. I don't consider him a random source. A majority of the info we get is due to his reports.

To that end I'd like the Internet community to join me in reminding the Disney company that "it all started with Walt." As you can see below we've created some T-shirts, plus a few simple graphics that you can copy and paste into your websites to let folks know how you feel.

    Ticket Prices Go Up

So according to MousePlant ticket prices go up this week.

Disneyland regulars know that the annual ticket price increase was announced the first weekend of August for the past several years, but it seems the Resort broke with tradition and will announce the new pricing at the same time Walt Disney World releases their new rates this week. We've been told that the new rates will go into effect on Thursday, August 5, and that details will likely be released sometime on Tuesday.

So how much do you think prices will be raised?
