^That's a good question. DCA is about to close two restaurants (POMM and BVFM), further narrowing the already limited food options. There have been rumors of more food trucks until more restaurants re-open. In the meantime, maybe the corn dogs will move to Award Wieners?

Must agree. Especially the part about Bugs Land - its at such a central, crossroads part of the park that it really has the opportunity to be a sort of New Orleans Square-type themed area to represent a key part of California history... instead of, you know, a Pixar-themed kiddy play land. I once read a concept for a "Mission Square" that I really liked.

Re: Future of Bountiful Valley Farm?

So just so we are clear all these "Attractions" are leavind

    -Sam Andreas Shakes
    -Farmer's Market
-P.T. Flea Market(to be located next to GSS)
    -Noise making play area
    -Irrigation Water Play area.
-The building next to Farmer's Market will be re themed to fit JJ as the attraction will go up against the building(which btw is the Cast Cafe).

And you guys are forgetting that Corn Dog Castle will reopen next year in spring, so it's only half a year without corn dogs in DCA. You guys could just go to the Corn Dog Wagon on Main Street in the meantime.

ever since i first went in 2001, i thought that it was the most boring area that shouldn't be in a disney park.

Exactly, there is nothing there of interest there and the area looks like such a hodgepodge. It's also a massive contiguous piece of land from the parade route to the remaining parking lot. There is still plenty of room for a good sized new land that really supports the California theme.

Re: Future of Bountiful Valley Farm?

Bountiful Valley Farm was a last minute idea that Eisner insisted on added, and Bug's Life movie was suppose to play a supporting role for the Bountiful Valley Farm. However, that changed quickly once DCA opened, as the farm area was a failure, and the Bug's took over, especially when they announced adding Flik's Fun Fair on DCA's 1st Anniversary.

The Sign for Bountiful Valley Farm on the Bug's Life 3D Theater disappeared when FFF's opened. The bug's took over the entire area.

As for the restaurants, all of them in DCA are getting makeovers at some point during the huge DCA-do over make over. It just time for the makeover in this area.

The water play area going away is a waste of space, as there are two better themed water play areas in Flik's Fun Fair, just inside the cereal box, no big loss. Plus don't forget the new water play are in Paradise Park.

I don't get how Tough to Be a Bug will fit in to the new area.

I'm sure PT Fleas' merchandise will be relocated. Pins are very profitable.

There will be a lot of trees planted along the side of Mater's Junkyard Jamboree. So you'll just have a path left along the front of the ittbab building and into FFF. Actually it should help define Bug's Land as its own area better.

PT Fleas' is being moved into the Paradise Gardens area near Goofy's Sky School and the restrooms.

Hopefully they will eliminate most of the outdoor queue area for Bug's Life 3D movie. That's currently just a big waste of space.
