Thanks for more great shots, Ivankay. The 1.4 is the way to go for Haunted Mansion shots. Even with the ISO boosted, it's still pretty tricky to get ANYTHING decent in there as you are constantly moving and bumping around. GREAT job on getting those clear shots!
Thanks Mac Daddy. Next Monday i'm going to try and get in there for some shots with a 85mm 1.2 and a 5D Mark II i'm renting to shoot a couple of friends' (they are marrying each other) wedding this weekend. Nervous about the wedding. It will be in candle light and i can't have them redo the kiss if i miss or mess it up.
Hmmm, this new layout for Mice Chat is going to prompt me to do what others are doing an put up smaller versions of the pictures. If you would like to see larger versions, you can go to my flickr account.
That's it for my best shooting experience on Pirates. i'm going to give props to the 5D and 85mm 1.2 i rented for a wedding (my first) i shot that weekend. i was so stoked about the pictures, i created a separate set on flickr for them. There are ones that didn't make it here there. If you do check out that set, put on "Yo Ho...." and watch it in slide show mode.
Thanks for sharing these GREAT shots, Ivankay! The POTC shots are amazing! I was in Disneyland shooting yesterday as well after the storm broke and the light just before sunset was amazing. Please keep posting more! These are really good!!
Twas a beautiful day Mac D. Too bad there was not an accidental bumping into each other followed with conversation about the cameras and such. Thanks as always for your kind words and support. The rest (that i liked enough to post) from that day:
For those of you that don't know, Papa Doo Run Run played pretty regularly at Disneyland in the 80's. So when i walked by and saw they were playing at Carnation Gardens, i was pretty happy to hear and see them. So was John Stamos.
