Need advice from locals... Best way to do fireworks and Fant! in same night?

I'm going to the DLR Labor Day weekend and since one of my family members is going the half marathon it cuts down on our touring time. It looks like we'll do Fant and the fireworks on Saturday night and WOC Sunday night. What's the best way to attack this without spending all night camped out on Main Street. I'm assuming we'll be going to the later showing of Fant if that makes a difference, and there'll only be 3 of us that are pretty good at sneaking around crowds and filling in the space.

You can actually watch the fireworks from the viewing area of Fantasmic because the fireworks start after the first showing of Fantasmic ends.

I'd go for this except I'd like to see Dumbo. That said, the thought of the crowds in the hub and main street make me go

If you have a wheelchair or GAC card than you can do both. Watch the fireworks than go to the wheelchair section for Fantasmic for the 10:30 show and you will find yourself a decent spot to see the show.

Honestly, the best way to do it, would be catch the fireworks as close to the castle as possible and then afterwards head left through Frontierland and over to the Rivers of America and Fantasmic. With it being Labor Day Weekend, the crowds should be lighter than any other weekend and honestly about a month ago, I did the fireworks and Fantasmic in the same night and was shocked at how light the park was.

I've done this several times, and this is exactly the way to do it if you want the best view from both locations. It only works (well) going to the second showing of Fantasmic. Watching the fireworks from the Fantasmic area is not the best view. We did it on July 6th, viewing the fireworks right in front of the castle. Went through Frontierland and easily got a seat in the middle of the viewing area for Fantasmic. Be patient, even though the crowds will move slow at first, there is still open seating in the middle of Fantasmic ... Just keep working your way to the center. I've done this several times.

That's so much guys, appreciate it. Another question if I may: What time should we arrive to get a spot for fireworks? Is an before long hour enough?

Watch the fireworks in front of It's a Small World. After they finish, cut through FL, take the trail past BTRR, and go down to the riverfront. Wait for the crowds to clear out and snag a seat for the 10:30 performance of F!

..or if you are going to the 9:00 WOC Sunday, you could do the 10:30 F! Sunday and do the fireworks Saturday.

An hour before is plenty of time. After the fireworks, head over and you should have no problem catchin Fantasmic.

Yea, about 1 hr to 45 minutes (not 1 hr and 45 minutes) before queue up on the left side of the castle on the inside ring of the hub and dash for Fantasmic afterwards. Be prepared for crowd control. They usually hold you until they let out the 1st show and then everyone floods in. Don't be too much in a rush and you should get a spot in the middle just in front of the ropes. Never failed =)
