It's the Disneyland Resort board. Anything related to this place can, has and most likely will be debated here, lol!

I think both of the trees look beautiful. I was disappointed by how short the DCA tree was compared to DL's, but it does make sense. They are both very nice and fit the areas in which they are located well.

    Re: The better tree?

Folks, they are Christmas trees. Whether or not you hate DCA is not the question. The OP asks, which tree do you like better, not which park. I like the tree at Disneyland (fits the 50th theme pretty well), but the DCA tree looks more like what I expect a Christmas tree to be. But what I want to know is, where is the Hanukkah Bush????

    ^ Good point.

Is Hanukkah not represented at all this year? Granted it was very lightly represented in previous years, but with no "Believe in Holiday Magic" and the Dredel (sp?) song I can't think of any Hanukkah decorations.

    Re: The better tree?

I like both. Although somepeople said they'd like the 50th DL tree topper to be a 50 inside a star, not mouse ears. It's a good thought. But most of the hidden 50ths have mouse ears around them, right?

DCA's tree looks nice with snowflakes. Is Tinkerbell really necessary? It might look better without her.

Disney has never been very good at representing non-Christian holiday traditions...with the exception of probably World Showcase. It's a shame, really, since most of the world is non-Christian. Anyway, my small Christmas tree in my dormroom definitely doesn't measure up to either of these!

    Re: The better tree?

From looking at Darkbeer's photo's the trees both look amazing. I'm leaning ever so slightly towards DCA's tree because it's the more traditional looking.

But ... I am going to reserve judgement until I can see both in person this coming week.
