Plainly honest, my expectations for a new ride have never been LOWER. If I come off wanting to ride again because it's that well done, I will be impressed.

Looking at the model, there doesn't seem to be a lot to it. I hope I'm pleasantly surprised but I don't think it will be anything special like Haunted or Pirates.

I really think that this ride will somehow age to become DCA's Pirates or Haunted. What DCA really needs is WRE heheheh

No way will it be DCA's Pirate's or HM. DCA would need WRE, for that level of comparison. It will be lucky to compare to Small World, with a better variety of music. However I wonder how it might compare to the Sinbad Voyage at Tokoyo Disney Sea.

I really hope the queue is the like Nemo's in WDW - a bunch of switchbacks but also really nicely themed and tells a story.

But PLEASE have the switchbacks be able to be removed so you don't have to go through the ENTIRE queue when there's no line!!! It's such a PITA in Nemo.
    Good morning, son

Maybe we'll both sit down and have a few beers
And I can tell you 'bout today
And how I picked you up and everything changed
    It was pain
    Sunny days and rain
I knew you'd feel the same things...

Personally, I really just hope it's a decent ride. Please NOT like DCA's Monster's Inc., Epcot's Nemo (I'm having flashbacks of those lame clam-mobiles and that horrendously awful queue!), etc.

question: has Disney said when the ride might open yet?

All we have to go on is 2011. Being a new ride, it'll probably be Spring or Summer.

If I remember correctly, they are aiming for a Spring 2011 opening. So anywhere between April-June (you know the first half when it's still spring ) would be the likley opening month options.

Maybe I am crazy but I didn't see anything that was negative about Aladdin's earlier post.

Im comparing this to the awful dark ride they have. And you dont think this ride will be good? Obviously it will be better than a fantasyland ride
